Turnips reach maturity between 45 to 80 days of planting. Keep on the lookout for when they're ready for harvesting!
Keep an eye out for the first signs of maturity. If the roots begin to turn a deep green colour and have wrinkled skin, it's time to harvest! Once the roots are harvested, keep them in a cool, dark, and dry location. Turnip roots can be stored for up to 3 months.
Keep in mind that turnips do not grow well in soil that is too warm. They are also sensitive to cold weather, so make sure to wait until the soil has warmed up from the winter before planting. Remember that if you're growing your seeds inside, they will grow at different rates and may take a little longer to mature.
